A field area manager will manage a group of employees as they work in a field. They are responsible for overseeing a variety of day-to-day operations, covering both internal employees and contractors, while their influence extends beyond the workplace. Field managers can coordinate a team by scheduling their trips, organizing employee and customer meetings, and even managing the company's fleet of vehicles needed on site. The field manager will also assign staff and associate staff in the field and at the same time arrange or confirm necessary training prior to commencing work. In addition, the field manager will be responsible for monitoring staff performance levels and, when necessary, taking necessary actions to put an end to underperformance. Field managers must also ensure that all policies and regulations are adhered to at all times while providing a point of contact for all field workers, staff and clients in the field. Essentially, the mission is to maintain smooth operations on a daily and ongoing basis to increase efficiency and safety. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Relevant Experience: Several years of experience managing business operations Strong leadership and communication skills Proficiency in standard business software such as Microsoft Office
